Our Budget Drive Has Started!
It is that time of year when we seek financial commitments to support the Congregation’s budget for next year, 2008-2009. This is a Congregation with a vision that calls for meeting our growing needs. To address these needs and to pass a responsible budget, we will require an increase in the level of financial commitments made by members last year. We had a great discussion about this year’s Budget Drive also at the congregational meeting on March 2, 2008 and in materials recently sent to you (for those unable to attend). In a straw poll conducted at that meeting, the members present had an opportunity to express their views about different budget scenarios. The results are represented in the pledge range listed below. Your decision to fund a “minimum” or “visionary” budget is completely personal and we respect your judgment. In your monetary commitment, we know that you will give as generously as possible to help this growing congregation sustain a strong financial foundation.
