Planning Meeting – led by our congregation’s justice leaders
Wednesday June 3, 2020 at 6:00 PM
Black lives matter. George Floyd’s life matters. I say “matters” not “mattered” because his life has been put into our hands. We have a banner on our building proclaiming that black lives matter. This means that when a life like George Floyd’s life is taken in the manner that it was taken – by inhumane and violent hands – than our hands must reach down to lift up his story and his life.
Our congregation’s justice leaders are gathering to plan a response to the terrifying wave of racist violence plaguing our America. If you would like to join in this work, join us for this conversation. Email revanya@uumontclair.org for Zoom information.
