Religious education isn't only for kids! Our adult members engage in a wide variety of religious education opportunities.
Religious Education (RE)
The purpose of the Religious Education Program is to guide our children, youth and adults in:
- Nurturing the individual spirit within our loving community
- Understanding that we are part of Unitarian Universalist heritage; past, present and future
- Cultivating curiosity about, appreciation for, and engagement with, all faith traditions
- Developing a lifelong practice of service
- Encouraging mindfulness and a sense of wonder
Bright Beings
Religious Education and community for our Senior Youth and our UU Youth Group, the U-YG.
Coming of Age (9th & 10th Grades)
This program empowers youth to be curious stewards of their own faith journey, helping them to define their beliefs and put their faith into action.
Creative Edge
Best for Kindergarten through 6th Grades and New to the U kids. Multifaceted creative exploration of foundational UU values.
Dungeons and Dragons
For 4th through 12th grades. Explores CORE UU VALUES and TRADITIONS through D&D fantasy role-playing adventures.
Harvest the Power Leadership Development
Discover where your heart is called to serve in our congregation.
Living Into Social Justice
Explores ethical imagination and moral courage by examining societal oppression while encouraging an understanding of values that counteract the marginalization of others.
Minecraft
An Introduction to the Neighboring Faiths curriculum. Best for 3rd-5th grades, and children with previous Minecraft and tablet experience.
Neighboring Faiths
We learn about these dimensions of religion by experiencing the worship services of other faith communities.
Our Whole Lives (OWL)
A comprehensive, age-appropriate, lifespan sexuality education curriculum that dismantles stereotypes and assumptions, builds self-acceptance and self-esteem, fosters healthy relationships, and improves decision-making.
