May 13, 2018 is UUCM’s Annual Meeting: Are You a Voting Member?

One of the benefits of membership is having an official ‘vote’ for our congregational business, the right to directly influence what we do and how. Voting should be seen as both a benefit and a duty of membership.

As per the current UUCM bylaws, a member is: “Any person who is at least 18 years old and is in accord with the purpose of the Society may become a member by signing the Membership Book … Membership shall continue as long as the member takes an active interest in the work of the Society by attendance at its services, by involvement with any of its activities, and by making an annual pledge resulting in a financial contribution of record.”

If you have become a member prior to April 13, 2018 you will be eligible to vote in our May 13 Congregational Meeting. If you are not sure if you are officially a member, please contact our Administrator, Danielle Carlo.  If you would like to become a member, please contact Rev Scott.
