Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows
Robert G. Brown
We lit a candle for Robert G. Brown who died after a brief illness. He attended our congregation regularly when he was a tutor at Montclair State University in 2003 to 2004.
Richard Luther
We lit a candle in memory of Richard Luther, father to Jason Luther, father-in-law of Deirdre Birmingham and grandfather of Margot and Eli. He passed away on December 25th. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor in June. Our family is grateful for the time we had with him. Please light a candle of support for Jason’s mother, Terry Luther, who is grieving the loss of her husband of 47 years.
