Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows
The People of Myanmar
We lit a candle of safety and peace for the people of Myanmar, people attacked by a rogue military for merely assembling and witnessing to their right to self determination.
Pope Francis
We lit a candle of hope for Pope Francis, head of the Roman Catholic Church, as he became the first pope ever to visit Iraq. Among other places, Pope Francis will visit Ur, in the Iraqi desert. Ur is the birthplace of Abraham, patriarch of Judaism, Christianity and Islam. May Francis’ visit inspire an irresistible wave of peace for that troubled land.
