Share a Remembrance
We are living in troubled times and we all need care from time to time. You can light a candle, request pastoral care, find support from the care team, or honor our community’s joys and sorrows. Do not bear the burden alone. We are here for each other.
Candles of Remembrance
Sharing Remembrances in Worship works best when we share our souls’ yearnings with the worship leader before Sunday morning. If you would like to have this Sunday’s worship leader share your request aloud during the pastoral prayer, you may do so by submitting the form. This will also light a candle on our website.
Our Joys and Sorrows
Micah Desiante
Micah Desiante lights a candle of sorrow. This Friday marks 2 years since the passing of his mother. He says, “she was my role model and I miss her.”
Richard Pearson
We light a candle of sadness in memory of Richard Pearson, an artist and a drummer from Montclair, who used to run a Jazz Open Mic at the old DLV Lounge on Bloomfield Avenue. You may recall his “Jesus” headband. Richard played drums here a couple times in the last few years. He will be dearly missed.
